If the Name of the School is Cal Poly Humboldt… Polywog is Appropriate!

I’ve done ones to Shiva, Hanuman, Kali Ma, Saraswati, but the one that affects me most is one from my guru Paramahansa Yogananda. It is a simple one, “My Heavenly Father and I are one”, and I have altered it slightly because I have a strong connection to the Divine Mother, so I say, “My Divine Mother and I are one”. This simple mantra takes me to places that no other one does.

 I Find Hiking in the Mountains and drinking a lot of pure water is MY PATH to Enlightenment. The High Sierras, Castle Crags or Trinity Alps… I also had fun in Yosemite high on LSD… but No “REAL” Enlightenment… just a lot of energy to hike up the trails… The View from the TOP is EPIC.

Cost of stimulus payments per household $4,410 – $3,500 = $910.

The average household paid $4,410 dollars to receive a stimulus of $3,500 costing them an additional $910.

Your 7% number seems wildly overstated Mark. The numbers I have seen are 0.3% for 2021 and 0.2% for 2022. That is a huge difference.

Is the first statement true? “stimulus payments cause inflation to spike to 7%” – No One Knows the CAUSE of Inflation… Some say it’s Corporate Greed… Taking advantage of shipping troubles to gouge consumers… Certainly NOT Caused by Stimulus Payments…

no one knows the cause of inflation? Well, that is what the Fed would like you to believe but we do know what causes inflation. When there is too much money circulating through the economy that causes inflation . The Fed prints money and gives it to the banks. When the banks loan that money, it creates more demand that increases prices on everything. In 2008 when we had the first Quantitative Easing the money went to the banks but the banks were not loaning the money so we had little inflation

This time much of the stimulus was sent directly throughout the economy that coupled with supply shortages caused the inflation we now see.

Nothing to do with corporate greed. Well I wouldn’t say nothing. Corporations will certainly take advantage.

I Replied:

Sounds Plausable… Supply Shortages are Just an Excuse to raise prices… a Large amount of Money is hidden in bank accounts of the Super Rich… making the amount of FREELY CIRCULATING Money much less than the Fed’s M1 Statement… “When there is too much money circulating through the economy that causes inflation .” – It ain’t Circulating Much… a lot is hidden in offshore accounts in the Cayman Islands…

Here are two 5 year charts… Price of Gasoline and “M1” – It’s Interesting to compare the two… “M1” really jumped recently… gasoline also went up in the same time period…

Here is the pattern I’ve observed about people who move to CA from other states.

1. They can’t believe the difference in the weather compared to where they came from. They wear shorts and flip-flops in the middle of winter when it’s 55 degrees outside because to them, that feels “warm.” They laugh at the rest of us for wearing heavy jackets.

2. One day after they’ve been living here about 6 months or so, the sky clouds over and it rains a little bit. They act confused at first because they’d forgotten that rain is a normal, natural part of life. Then they get angry because this little bit of rain is so inconvenient after 6 months of dry weather. They complain about the fact that nobody can drive in the rain, but they don’t realize that they themselves have also forgotten how to drive in it after 6 months of dry weather.

3. At some point, usually during the summer, they get fed up with life in CA, and they announce that they’re leaving and going back to wherever they came from. This is often triggered by an earthquake or wildfires, but sometimes it’s triggered by the high cost of living or the fact that CA is so overcrowded. But they claim they’re done living here, so they pack up and move back where they came from. They post on social media about how happy they are to be able to live in a house for a fraction of what it would cost in CA, or they’re able to rent an apartment for hundreds of dollars a month instead of thousands. They claim they’ll never live in CA again.

4. Sometime around November or so, they announce that they can no longer deal with the snow, rain, or freezing weather in the state that they moved back to, so they pack up the moving van and head back to CA. Suddenly, the cost of living, earthquakes, wildfires, overcrowding, etc. are all irrelevant. They move back, and now they’re here to stay. Oftentimes they don’t even go home to visit. They suddenly feel cold in the wintertime, and they start wearing a heavy coat in 55-degree weather instead of the shorts and flip-flops they wore when they moved here the first time.

5. If they’re a right-winger, they often rant and rave about CA’s “liberal” politics, but they still NEVER leave. This is why our population constantly grows and why our cost of living continues to get more expensive: because people NEVER stay away once they’ve experienced life in CA. No amount of negative can ever outweigh the positive. Once you visit, you never want to leave.

CB SAID: I’m totally guilty of 1. Before I moved here I’d lived in Chicago for a couple of years. I was in California probably four or five winters before I started wearing a coat.

SE REPLIED: But do you wear one now? The part I always find amusing is that after they’ve lived here a while, they’re complaining that it’s “cold” when it’s 65 degrees!

Here in Maine we are being bombarded by “PFA’s” (people from away). They can now work from home so apparently what better place than Maine). They are inflating our housing market so locals can’t afford to live here. They also say they want the Maine way of life yet In reality they are changing our state to match were they came from.

Well, if any of them came from CA, they’ll leave Maine soon enough and come back here. Everyone does.

That sounds a bit like me moving to Qld from Sydney. But it took me 8 years to realize now want.to move to one of the only parts of Australia where it snows in winter because I’m so sick of the heat, insects and crowding.

I SAID: I moved from Santa Clara, California to Columbia, Maryland so my wife could take a Job at the NSA on Fort George G Meade… I quickly got a Job at a Defense Contractor because I Had One Year Work Experience in Silicon Valley… anyway… Driving in the Ice and Snow on the Beltway to get to work was terrifying… those idiots don’t know how to drive… many people that live and work near Washington DC are Foreigners from Countries near the Equator… and Frozen Water Falling Out of the SKY is Unbelieveable! I also caught a LOT of hostility from other employees… they thought that California Hippies were Traitors… or something Like that… But, Look in a Mirror Dude, you spent 20 years living in a FREAKING SUBMARINE with a Bunch of Men… Your Opinion is CRAZY…

I stayed there for twelve years… and eventually FLED to Los Gatos, CA… I bought a Condo that turned out to be Unsellable because it was in a Black Neighborhood… and when Crack Cocaine became Popular, My neighborhood became a Crack-Crazy Ghetto… SO… I Refused to Pay the Mortgage for Three Months… filled my car with my stuff… and MOTORED WEST on ROUTE 66… It starts in Washington DC and Travels thru Virginia until You Get to the Shanandoah Valley where I took a left down 81 towards 40 and California…

 I used to know someone who couldn’t wait to move to Florida because he hated CA’s liberal politics so much…but it didn’t stop him from living here for many years and working a great job in the high-tech industry and fully taking advantage of all the things everyone loves about CA. People love to scream about how much they hate it while simultaneously living the dream CA life. But he did eventually move to Florida. We’ll see if he stays. It’s pretty rare for someone to actually stay away once they’ve lived here, but it occasionally does happen.

and I Said: 

Remember that The LAST THING That Happened in the South was Jack Kilby inventing the Integrated Circuit for Texas Instruments in 1959… and Willie Nelson… In General, The South is a _____ _____ __ ____.
